International show features Paverpol pedestals.

Some time ago, we were contacted by the show-decoraters of 'Holiday On Ice'! They needed giant pedestals for one of their spectacular shows. The pedestals should be strong but not heavy. They had looked into the possibilities of Paverpol and found it a great product to work with. We confirmed all Paverpol's features and advised to use glass-fibre sheets, to guarantee super-strong modelling.

First the mould was produced. Then, the glass-fibre sheets were drenched in Paverpol and applied to the mould. After about a week drying and hardening at room temperature, the glass-fibre sheets were cut in big pieces, drenched in Paverpol again, and glued to each other.

Paverpol has, besides its extreme hardening features, also a great bonding.

After the glass-fibre sheet had hardened completely (after again a week), the prop was ready for painting with oil- or acrylic paint.

The final props, looking like the desired big pedestals, came out at the proper weight and could be moved easily across the ice.
