In the early 90'ies Jossy and Jan de Roode were the founders of what is now worldwide known as the Paverpol business. Jossy was singer in a pop group, Jan was owner of a publicity agency. Somewhat later they were running Jan de Roode Promotions bv in Rotterdam together.

Jossy started researching the possibilities and impossibilities of Paverpol for a year while Jan concentrated on the national and international hobby market. After some ten years the initial 'Josefine Hobbyproducts' name was changed into Paverpol Art Products International and so covering the growing business a lot better. Paverpol had become available in over 19 countries by than. Currently Jan works in controlling production, order processing and all marketing around the product.

Jossy concentrates on developing new applications, educating and retraining worldwide operating Certified Paverpol Instructors (CPI's) appointed by the importers.
