In this time of economizing, many people will appreciate a Paverpol workhop, because Paverpol is a product that can be combined with cheap materials. That is why there are countless ways to organize different Paverpol workshops. It is possible for beginners to make a garden statue out of Paverpol and an old T-shirt. Things you need: Paverpol, an old T-shirt, aluminium foil and a piece of electrical wire. No expensive materials! If you want to dress a larger figure, old children’s clothes can also be used. Other cheap materials that can be used are: sawdust, paper, wood chips, beads, shells, dried flowers, sand, etc. They can used, e.g. on canvas. Items from thrift shops, second hand markets, or your own attic/shed, get a second life! If you want to become a good Paverpol workshop leader, you will need some basic knowledge about Paverpol and the by-products. Good basic know-how will give you the self-confidence you need. The 2-day Paverpol basic training is given by Jossy de Roode herself. During the basic training, you will make two pieces of your own choice. There will be enough examples there to inspire you. In addition you will get many tips for techniques and applications. You will also learn easy paint techniques, which you can use to get amazing results. Questions will be answered and all techniques will be explained very clearly. The 2-day Paverpol training is completed with a certificate. TWO-DAY FOLLOW UP COURSE (Advanced) To participate in this course, students must be familiar with Paverpol and related products. Most important is how to make a strong framework for a large figure. You can work with all Paverpol colours, Pavercotton, Pavercolours, Paverplast, Art Stone, wrappers, Stockinette and relief decoration. Materials such as metal standards, iron wire, electric wire, a plaster head and a selection of colours will be provided for. Students can use existing models or their own fantasy to create new figures.
This is an intensive and instructive course for anyone who wants to learn more about working with Paverpol and other modelling products.
